Fishing Report January 14th 12:30 PM 4 hour private charter with a wonderful couple visiting from France. We had an amazing sunny afternoon with calm winds and a flat ocean which made for very comfortable fishing conditions.
We began the trip trolling along the area and it paid off with a nice bonito to start the action. After that we decided to switch it up and move into jigging to target stronger reef and deep water species.
The change worked perfectly and we hooked into a powerful amberjack. We used a mix of live bait and artificial lures throughout the charter and both helped keep the bites coming. Great energy on board and a fun, productive day on the water.
