On Saturday, July 12, we headed out for an 8-hour fishing trip starting at 6:00 AM, and it turned out to be an unforgettable day on the water. A wonderful family joined us, and we were treated to excellent conditions—calm seas with just a bit of sargasso, but nothing that disrupted the fishing.
We used a combination of trolling and live bait, which proved to be very effective. The highlight of the day was catching a wahoo, a rare and exciting catch for this time of year. Alongside the wahoo, the family also reeled in several mahi mahi, keeping the energy high and everyone smiling.
It was a fantastic trip filled with great fishing, great company, and perfect weather from start to finish.
