What a fantastic way to kick off the year! We had an awesome day on the water with a father and son duo, celebrating the start of 2025 in style. The weather was perfect, with clear skies and calm seas – the kind of day you dream about when you’re heading out for some fishing and snorkeling.
We started the day with 4 hours of fishing, trying both trolling and bottom fishing. The trolling produced a nice surprise: a barracuda! The son was over the moon when he reeled it in – a big, strong fish that definitely gave him a run for his money. After that, we switched gears and tried bottom fishing. It wasn’t long before we started getting some nice catches, and the excitement was contagious. It was great to see the father and son working together, sharing laughs and bonding over their catches.
After a successful fishing session, we moved on to the second part of our adventure – 2 hours of snorkeling! We explored the crystal-clear waters of Playa del Carmen, discovering vibrant coral reefs, schools of colorful fish, and even a few rays gliding by. It was the perfect way to cool off after a busy day of fishing and enjoy the underwater world in a more relaxed way.
By the end of the day, both father and son were all smiles, having made some amazing memories and caught some great fish to start the year off right.
