On January 13, we headed out for a 6-hour fishing charter with a 12:30 PM departure. The sea was a bit choppy, but overall the conditions were still comfortable enough to fish.
We started the day trolling to cover ground and look for action, but after a while with no bites we adjusted the plan and switched over to jigging. Since it’s amberjack season right now, we focused on the right depths and structure, and it paid off with an absolute trophy, a huge amberjack. Great teamwork on board and a solid result for the day.
